1.1 Selection of stamping process
1.1.1 Principles of Cover Design
(1) The collection cover has good anti-corrosion performance and can work normally under corrosive conditions.
(2) The collection cover has a light weight, high tensile strength, and easy and fast installation.
(3) The collection hood should surround or be close to the pollution as much as possible to minimize the spread of pollutants, reduce the suction range as much as possible, prevent interference from lateral airflow, and reduce the exhaust volume.
(4) Under the condition of ensuring pollution control, try to minimize the volume of the enclosed space and minimize the exhaust volume.
(5) The configuration of the collection cover should be coordinated with the production process to ensure that it does not affect the process operation and equipment maintenance.
(6) On the basis of meeting usage requirements, try to save construction investment as much as possible.

1.2.1 Performance of Arched Fiberglass Cover Plate
a. Description of fiberglass material
(1) Basic performance
Light weight and high strength:
The surface of fiberglass is coated with imported anti ultraviolet colored unsaturated resin coating. The density of fiberglass is 1.85g/cm2, which is 1/4 to 1/5 of ordinary carbon steel and about 1/3 lighter than light metal aluminum. However, its mechanical properties reach or exceed carbon steel. If calculated by specific strength, it not only greatly exceeds ordinary steel, but can also reach or exceed certain alloy steels.
(2) Good corrosion resistance:
Fiberglass reinforced plastic has excellent resistance to seawater, acid and alkali solutions of general concentrations, and various oils and organic reagents, making it an excellent corrosion-resistant material.
(3) Good thermal performance:
Fiberglass has a low thermal conductivity, generally ranging from 0.35 to 0.46W/(m.k) at room temperature. It can absorb a large amount of thermal energy at ultra-high temperatures and also has excellent insulation properties.
(4) Good designability of molding process:
Fiberglass has good processability, and the forming method can be selected based on the geometric shape, size, and technical requirements of the product. Fiberglass is particularly suitable for integral forming, and is not limited by the complex shape of the product. It can be molded freely, so its designability is good. Especially, it can design the structure based on the stress conditions of the product and manufacture products of various shapes.
